Beginner-Level-Lessons for Middle School
« on: July 20, 2018, 12:16:54 pm »

my school will be hosting 4 days of Summer Camp soon to prospective students (I teach at a High School, so the students will be about 14 years old. Classes will be up to 25 studetns).
There are 3 groups.
2 groups have each 2 lessons, one each day. One group has only one lesson.
So I basically need only 2 lesson plans that I can use twice and once in summarized.

Now the problem is that I teach German and not English. My students speak 0 German.

While I speak Korean, I am not allowed to. I have 2 student assistants that are pretty good tho.

I already came up with making some pronounciation comparsions, showing videos (e.g. of Youtubers like dave who had German pronounciation videos uploaded). Trying to do some basic follow-up questions about "What do you know about Germany?"

But I really have no idea what we should do. They can't communicate with me at all and it's not fun actually teaching German on these days.

Anyone any ideas?
