Thank you to the original creator of the template, genius. Here is an adapted version of the Stay Alive Elimination game made for this lesson. I used in Period 2 as speaking and reading game. The more teams, the longer the game will last. Also has Korean translations for those, like me, no co teacher with ya.  ;D

Hello
Today we did period 4 of this lesson (which we have been doing as period 5 and giving one whole period for the story time activity)
Last period (story time) was an online class, and we know there are some students who don't do the class, so we reviewed story time after doing mywork (and a listening test for the unit).
We tried something new today and it worked well so here it is.

Look at page 128
Detective Game
What is ‘detective’ in Korean?  (Show a picture of Sherlock Holmes or magnifying glass to help students work it out themselves – then give the answer if no-one knows)
Detectives have to look and listen carefully.

Let’s watch ‘The Prince and the pauper’ again but with no sound.
NT will say the dialog.  But she will make some mistakes – how many mistakes do you hear?

KT – What did you hear? (KT asked students what mistakes they heard – they explained mostly in Korean with some English)
Volunteers said what they heard – until we found all the mistakes.

Now let’s listen (and repeat?) to check we found them all.

[I  had the scripts side by side on my lesson plan and the changes were underlined - not sure if the underlining will work here]
Original script
(1)Prince: Can you play soccer?
Pauper: Yes, I can. I play soccer every day.
Prince: Really?
(2) Pauper: Do you eat breakfast every day?
Prince: Sure. I eat breakfast every day.
Pauper: Really?
(4) Attendant: Get up, please.
Prince: Oh, no! I get up early every day!
Pauper’s dad: Get up! Where is my breakfast?
Prince: Oh no! I make breakfast every day.
(5) Pauper: I read a book every day.
Prince: I clean the house every day.
(6) Prince, Pauper: Oh, no!

Changed script
(1)Prince: Can you play tennis?
Pauper: Yes, I can. I play tennis every day.
Prince: Really?
(2) Pauper: Do you eat kimchi every day?
Prince: Sure. I eat breakfast every day.
Pauper: Really?
(4) Attendant: Get up, please.
Prince: Oh, no! I go to bed early every day!
Pauper’s dad: Get up! Where is my breakfast?
Prince: Oh no! I eat breakfast every day.
(5) Pauper: I read a book every day.
Prince: I clean the classroom every day.
(6) Prince, Pauper: Great!

The students really enjoyed the activity and were attentive (mostly!)  Nice to find a simple idea that works so well.  [My co-teacher is great and helped it to work so well as she understood it.]
