High Budget camp ideas
« on: May 28, 2018, 02:20:11 pm »
I jsut found out from my co-teacher that our camp has a really high budget. She wants me to spend all the cash. How can you make a high budget camp?

Buy boardgames. One my students loved is called 'SpyHunt'. The rules are relatively simple, but might need some Korean explanation, so, play it with your CT so she can explain the rules.

With boardgames, you'll need multiple copies (one game usually plays 4-5 students) so a 30k boardgame for 20 students comes in at about 150k. Buy 4 different games and that's about 600k. You can use these games for class or future camps.

Look on the boardgames in Korea FB group for recommendations for boardgames for kids, depending on their level etc.

May I also suggest buying English cartoons/movies with Koran subtitles? I am not sure if it is possible but if you could find We Bare Bears on DVD, your kids will probably love you. They are quite popular.

Could you list the budget price? I am sure that I may be able to help. We don't have super high budgets, but it is always 400 bucks, so I have to find ways to spend it, each semester.
