I got a PowerPoint for practicing the role play. I actually took it from the Peter Pan Story Time in the old 4th grade book, so I can't take credit for the style. But I changed it to match this book of course!

Please comment if there is a mistake. I have checked it multiple times and I didn't find anything, but a new set of eyes is never a bad thing.

Enjoy!

And for anyone interested, there is the link for the old 4th grade Peter Pan materials. The vocabulary and everything is different, but there are some good companion activities (like a clip from the movie) that might be fun to do in your class.  It isn't worth uploading them all again to the same website, so I am just sharing the link.

Here's the script for the Story Time, should you wish to do the role-play ~

I made my own story to show along with the book's.  Then I split them up into groups of four and let them choose one to practice.  You can print both scripts to one page to simplify things, and depending on how much time you have and how advanced your students are, you can try to get the groups to show the class their play.
