2018 Grade 3 YBM 2 - 4. Do You Like Pizza?

I have no idea how to post things so this is the only way I could figure out how to do it...(I've looked in the help area and I couldn't figure it out.)

ANYWAY! Here is my activity I'm going to do with 3rd grade for period 4 since the story time and check-up is so quick and I hate just using games.  I hope this helps someone in the future! 

Pass the ball game and matching game with this lesson's vocabulary.  I just uploaded the food house instructions from a previous textbook lesson.

I made this watermelon game today, Not much posts for YBM. Hope someone can use.

This is the writing telepathy game but with the alphabet and food images from this chapter.

Here is my modification of the "Bunny Eats Carrots Telepathy Game."

Each slide has a different point value. I also used images of food instead of words. If teaching in-classroom lessons, print out the carrots from the Word document. Students are more engaged and motivated by having a chance to earn points they can hold in their hands.

This is my modification of the game, KNOCKOUT. Print the last slide for cards.

Students select a food card from a basket, keeping it a secret. One by one, students are asked to select a food on screen in order to knockout their fellow classmates from the game. "Do you like _______?"

The student with the selected food card is out. This student then must  respond with "I don't like _______" (their card). Afterwards, that student gets to call out the next card on screen.

The last student not called on is the winner!

Here is the script for the Story Time.

I added a 5th character, the witch. She comes in last, after the last line and asks, "Do you like bread? Hee hee hee" (두 유 ㄹ라이크 브레드? ㅎㅎㅎ)  (and 헨젤, 그레텔, 새,
 다람쥐 도망치다) (H, G, bird, sq, run away)

You can add that to the script if you like. The students really enjoyed this role.
