My city blocked email (like gmail and the Korean sites, like Naver email). I downloaded Chrome and use a VPN to access my email at school.

My area blocks websites, but only the main one (i.e. www.facebook.com). If I go to a secondary page like www.facebook.com/signin or whatever it usually lets me in. So they don't always block the entire domain.

If they do then yes get a chrome extension, like hotspot vpn, and have a go.

My Facebook isn't blocked but I would like to access my emails from work. I am basically computer illiterate. So, how do I have a hotspot VPN?

I use an add on (or plug in) called Browsec. I used to use Hotspot, but it stopped working well on my work computer for some reason.

Anyway, there are tons of free VPNs out there.

Good luck!

Check out:

www.expressvpn.com

www.strongvpn.com

You might need to install it outside of the restricted network, as the sites might get tagged as "proxy avoidance".

Gyeong gi and Seoul are always doing weird crap like this.  Rest of the country works fine.

If you have an account with a vpn at home, download another copy for your school computer and sign in.  Other option just check it on your phone.  Though I hate being on the phone all the time and prefer a larger computer screen.

Opera browser has a built-in VPN that works well.
