(EPIK) Leaving early; severance pay question
« on: February 10, 2018, 12:54:27 pm »
I am leaving early (can't be helped), but I want to know about severance pay.
I completed my contract last year but I won't be able to finish this one.

My question is will I still be paid severance for the year completed or will all of the severance be voided?

You have to be paid. PS are usually good about getting you straightout properly.

Once you complete a full 12 months, severance is prorated. It's also paid out as an average of your last 90 days of work, so if you got a raise after the first year, your entire severance is paid at that rate (assuming you didn't take any unpaid time off during the last 90 days of your employment).
