Korean criminal check for China
« on: May 24, 2017, 05:20:06 am »
Does a criminal check from Korea need to be notarized for it to be authenticated at the Chinese embassy? Thanks.

I was told recently that it just changed and that is does need to be notarized. But ask your school in China since things seems so different for different places, mine told me it does.

I am trying to get my police check now. Are you able to get them at any police station? I live 4 hours from Seoul and they are only open week days until 6 so I'm not sure how to get mine.

But how did you do it? I can't see a way unless I can somehow take a day off work and go all the way to Seoul. That just sucks, so wondering if anyone has been able to go anywhere else..like Changwon or their local station where they live?
