Need clarity on job offers
« on: December 24, 2016, 01:03:42 am »
Hello.

When job offers say, for example, 'Teaching: Kindergarten, elementary students', does it mean that the school expects you to teach kindergarten AND elementary students or is it possible that you could only teach kindergarten OR elementary students?

Thank you

Usually it means you teach both.
Imagine your Korea...

Most hagwons will teach Kindy in the morning until sometime around 2, then after they go home the elementary students will arrive (after they're done  Korean school). Those jibs tend to have 9/10am-4/5/6pm hours. Places with 1/2pm-8/9/10pm hours will usually be elementary/middle/high schoolers.
