Thanks for this. Have used it in both my after school programs as an icebreaker and it was an absolute hit!

It's essentially "describe a property that one person/thing has that the others don't."

Also, refer to the explanation slides at the start.

I made one without Kim JungUn and Park GeunHye. I'd just rather not go there. Also, combined stuff from above to make it a little longer.  It lasted me about 20-25 minutes (I had them write sentences in groups and then talk with other groups about their reasons.
Lots of fun! Thanks for the work everyone! :)

i guess i'm just an idiot, because i don't understand where the game is coming from :( it just looks like speaking practice. could you give me an example of what your students do that makes it insanely fun?

This is how I did it:
1. Explain what "odd-one-out means
2. Give example. Since I use this as a writing game too I show them examples of sentence structure (ie "A hamburger is not a fruit." "A hamburger is fast food.")
3. Give them paper and move to the first group of 4 pictures. Tell them to write a sentence about their answer.  They should be answering the question "Which is the odd-one-out?"
4. After a minute or two, collect answers and discuss.
5. Be internally surprised at how exciting they find this simple game and enjoy an easy 20ish minutes of teaching time.

Hey great idea. I animated and shrunk the file size.

The only picture change was putting in a yellow plane to the vehicles.

Thanks for the update, really appreciate it! :-*

OK, I'm just going to ask - if anyone has the time, could someone upload the answers for each slide? I know some of them are glaringly obvious, but some aren't so much to me.... I'm going to blame my friday brain haha!   :cheesy: :cheesy:
