Title: Thanksgiving (American)
Post by: jenilyn8705 on November 14, 2012, 12:07:58 pm
The template and base for this lesson is Vitamin-D's from the High School forum.  I just took what was posted there and added on more (foods, Black Friday, etc.) and did some changes with the Turkey attack to make it more appropriate for middle schoolers.

I hope you enjoy!

I'll also post the worksheet that I made to go along with the PowerPoint in a bit.

This is great! I'm going to try this with my classes this week and hopefully it goes well. I like how you added the Black Friday question. Nice work!

Thanks!  Recently I've also been showing my classes a video clip of Black Friday footage to give them a glimpse of the craziness.  They seem to enjoy it. :-)

Definitely!  It's a great template to work from! :-)
