I wanted to start an important and contained thread for customer service hotlines that speak in English. While I recommend people to learn Korean the best they can out of courtesy of teaching a foreign language, it still is important to have this when dealing with important and confidential issues.

Nonghyup Bank 1588-2100, then dial extension 730, then 1 for English

Number posted above already for any translation issues but here is more information:
Whenever and wherever in Korea, if foreigners encounter communicative problems in Korean, they just need to call 1588-5644 (no area code is necessary), and they will be connected to one of the BBB (Before Babel Brigade) volunteer interpreters. It does not matter where they are as it covers the whole Korea peninsular.
· Whenever: 24hours / 7 days
· Wherever: Airport, Restaurant, Drugstore, Hospital, Taxi, Hotel, Tourist Place, Shopping Mall, Market etc. anywhere in Korea

SK's internet/broadband number 02-106, just press 1 and ask for English. They will ask you for your number and call you back with an English speaking technician.
