Title: Persian Pictures
Post by: Virginia on November 20, 2006, 06:20:52 pm
Here are the pictures of the cats that are up for adoption.

#1 - small female, very friendly and purrs like a motorboat. About 2 years old.
#2 - larger female, very friendly and likes to cuddle. About 2 years old.
#3 - ginger male, fixed. Very friendly and calm. Has some skin problems and had a urinary blockage, which means special food. Has been there the longest.

These are not street cats, they were brought in by their owners.

Their fur has been clipped while at the vets, so you don't see them in their full glory! The females are not fixed, and that would run you about W200,000, including anasthesia, blood tests, the operation and aftercare.

There is no adoption fee.

If you are interested in offering either a permanent or a temporary home, please let me know.

Thank you!

The other female has a home now too.

I'll leave this post here for the time being, in case anyone is interested in the male. I know he's a "hard sell" because of health issues, but even a temporary home is better than the cage he is in now.

My vet sometimes has other homeless animals come in, so I may post again if other cats arrive.

As a side note, if you are looking for an animal companion to keep you company here, why not ask at your local vet's if they have any for adoption?

There is also an animal shelter in Daegu: http://www.koreananimals.org/ (http://www.koreananimals.org/)

We can't solve Korea's domestic animal issues, but we can help a little bit.
