I often wonder about that too. That's why I've been leaning towards the idea that he is just trolling. Someone with a degree can't be that dumb. Even if the school in question wasn't very good most likely. But I would expect more from a high school graduate.

Btw. so now his warning level keeps going down every day. At some point he will be able to return to the gen. pop. here and post? How does this work? Is his case passed to a higher level mod who will decide whether to boot him for good or not? How many times he received warnings? That's gotta count for something.

And his reactions to people mocking his posts are often so juvenile you get a good laugh there. But, with the threats of violence openly levelled at so many people here (and he previously challenged me to a fight once covid was finished. It was like seeing into the mind of a fourteen year old) he really should be banned. Let the insults fly, but genuinely threatening to attack people physically should not be tolerated. That's just not a good look for this place.

Alongside the threats of violence, I'll add throwing around "pedo" as something that should also not be tolerated. It's a bad look for any forum, nevermind one that is primarily used by teachers.

Right. And there may be some countries where calling someone a "pedo" is akin to calling someone an a-hole, but the only way I've heard it used in Canada is when you are calling someone an actual pedophile.

One of the greatest songs of all time in one of the greatest movies of all time. It was used in the movie because they thought the message would be the opposite of the lyrics, that people would see the bloody insanity and stop it. It wasn't a nihilistic nod to the end but an objection to it, a picture of what to avoid, an anti-Vietnam tune that was banned from Texas and Oklahoma radio.
