Title: Disposing of unused hair dye
Post by: Jennileigh on December 27, 2020, 04:48:20 am
Hello!

I dyed my hair today and I was just wondering how I should dispose of the remaining hair dye I have left. I know how I would dispose of hair dye back in the states but I really donít want to do something wrong. Should I dilute it and pour it down the drain or throw it away as is?

Pour it into something absorbent like newspaper or a diaper or kitty litter in a garbage bag or plastic bag.  Bottle might be recyclable after cleaning.

Dump it down the sink, who cares about the planet. If you honestly think a difference is being made think about what China and India are doing to the planet. Not to mention fracking, strip mining, massive deforestation, etc etc etc etc .....a little hair dye in the sink being harmful in the big picture? 'Tis to laugh.
