IELTS. need help
« on: July 02, 2016, 03:52:58 AM »
I will be teaching IELTS at my new school for adults. I haven't taught IELTS before. I have just read the writing task 1 and academic writing task 1. Can someone help me with the rest of IELTS? An is there a particularly good IELTS book to teach with?

are you teaching academic and general together? or only one of them?

i'd usually mix and match my classes using these books, which are all good

ielts masterclass
testbuilder 1 & 2
ielts on track
cambridge english vocab/grammar
collins ielts writing/listening/reading/speaking (although a bit dry)
ielts cambridge (i did weekly exams from these)
focus on ielts

become familiar with the reading question types, too

Hey man. Thanks for showing me the different question types. I didn't realise there's so many question types. Yeah, I will be doing general as well as academic IETLS. ANy more stuff you can tell me? is there an academic paper for just writing 1 or are there more papers?

Everything from tenses to good vocabulary and speaking skills are required to get through the exam. It depends upon the score required to apply for the visa. My cousin is preparing with the help of ielts coaching in zirakpur since a month. I think filled the exam for tenth of December. Wishing her the best.
