Okay, so I am "reading" Catch 22 (have been reading for a while), when I find the time! BUT for those of you who like memoirs of non-fiction I suggest "Sex, drugs and Cocoa Puffs" by Chuck Klosterman OR -- Anything by Augusten Burroughs (Running with Scissors author). He is my favourite author!! Augusten literally makes me laugh out loud.. which gets awkward if you're sitting in a library or very public place.

Nana by Ai Yazawa (the series)
Kyobo has a section on English manga that I can't get enough of.... I think I'm going to try reading "boys over flowers" next.

I just finished Freedom, by Jonathan Franzen. It's about rock stardom, bird sanctuaries, infidelity, parenthood, competition, and is set in my home state, Minnesota. It was the 'it' book last year, but managed to lose all the major awards except 'most backlashed novel.' Despite all that, it's a fantastic read if you're into, or don't mind, 'literary' fiction by pretentious Americans.

Obviously, I couldn't bring all my books with me to Korea, and I feel a bit lost without them :'( I did bring three though: One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Metamorphoses, by Ovid, and Don Quixote, by Cervantes. I think it was the right choice, because I will be rereading them for as long as I live :D

I'm reading The White Masai by Corinne Hofmann, I started it yesterday on the bus and was glued to it, wish I had brought it to school today to read during lunch time :(

I totally agree. That book was an easy read but entertaining. David Sedaris is a pretty fun writer.

i'm half way done with Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and just started Cat's Cradle. Zen is a really good book so far but I feel like I spend almost as much time in the dictionary haha.

One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez - loved this book. Im currently reading satanic verses. so far , so good.

I am reading this book called "Middle School English" by William Roszell. I have all three volumes and they are enthralling. I mean these books have me on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what will come next.
