EPIK procedure
« on: November 10, 2014, 07:22:35 AM »
Hi everybody,

I had interviewed with epik, and I'm pretty sure they said they would email me 2-3 days afterwards to let me know if I was accepted or not.  I haven't received an email yet.

I was wondering if other people have gotten an email stating whether or not they passed the interview and how long it took to get it afterwards.

thanks

I think they just like to throw out numbers...don't worry yet.  The first time I interviewed it took two weeks to hear back, but I ended up having paperwork problems and couldn't make it over that semester.  The second time I interviewed I woke up to an email the next morning...

There really isn't a set time frame for it, so don't worry about it.  They'll let you know when they know.

did you go through a recruiter?

My recruiter had emailed me my results but for some reason, I never got them in my e-mail. I let this go about 5 days and was absolutely freaking out. I ended up e-mailing my recruiter or calling, i don't even remember... and she said, "I sent you an e-mail! You didn't receive it? You were accepted. I'll resend it."

She resent the e-mail and that time I received it. It could be something like that. Just ask your recruiter if they have got your results.

It's definitely longer than 2 - 3 days. Both times I applied to EPIK (and passed my interview) it took more a week to hear back from them.

Just sit tight and wait, they have't forgotten about you :)
