Yongsan or Gmarket?
« on: August 20, 2014, 01:45:02 PM »
Which is cheaper and smarter to buy from?

I realise gmarket is much more convenient, which is nice, but that aspect of things doesn't affect me so much as the price. Is there any chance that I could get components (specifically ram and SSD's) cheaper in Yongsan?

If it's only marginally cheaper then I'll go with gmarket but I was just wondering if there was any real savings to be made. I'm guessing a lot of those sellers in Yongsan probably run the gmarket stores too anyway.

Thanks!

You want http://danawa.com

Gmarket is also pretty good.

If you want decent prices in Yongsan, you will need to shop around a lot and/or haggle.

I found Yongsan too much of a pain to shop around in...... Personally I think Gmarket is good and a lot of Yongsan shops are listed there from what I can gather....

Yongsan requires research, cash in hand, and haggling skills. You can get better deals there, but I really don't know if it is worth it. I prefer using Gmarket or 11st.co.kr, as they have dispute centers to help. Danawa is where you want to search for particular computer parts, or you can use naver shopping.
