Local honey in Incheon/Seoul??
« on: September 26, 2013, 08:14:01 AM »
Has anyone seen a place or a frequent vendor selling local honey to the areas of Incheon or Seoul? Jeju honey or any other South Korean honey is of interest as well. Thanks, honeys!

I would love to know as well.  I brought two big jars of honey from my family's honeybees at home when I came but it definitely won't last the winter and my tea addiction!

This may not be helpful, but there is a Farmers' Market in Seoul every weekend (Saturdays at the Seoul Dream Forest and Sundays at Gwanghwamun, which is usually much bigger). I know there are honey people that have a table, but I don't know if they're there every time or how the prices are.

This is their website : http://seoulfarmersmarket.com/
This is a picture on their FB page that proves that, at least once, some honey people were there : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=616382315049961&set=a.416462638375264.92776.414160098605518&type=1&relevant_count=1&ref=nf

Good luck. ^^

I wouldn't trust any honey coming out of here.  Honey is basically THEE most adulterated/faked product in this country.  It's mostly sugar water.  I buy my honey from only costco although the price tends to piss me off.  If anybody knows otherwise with solid evidence, feel free to enlighten me because all I would ever want is to be proven wrong about this.

We buy acacia honey (the best kind in my humble opinion) from this cooperative's stores:

Where can I get crystallized honey?

there is a Farmers' Market in Seoul every weekend

Do they have unpasteurized (raw) milk? Supposed to have massive health benefits.
Catch my drift?
