Using a rebozo during labor
« Reply #80 on: April 23, 2015, 12:04:03 PM »
In many traditional cultures around the world, women use a rebozo (or long scarf) to help during labor and birth. Here are some ways that you can use one to help you, http://tenderembracebirthing.blogspot.com/2015/03/using-rebozo-during-labor.html
Many doulas here in Korea use rebozos to help comfort women and speed up labor.

Learning about doulas
« Reply #81 on: April 23, 2015, 12:06:26 PM »
Natural childbirth has really taken off in the last couple of years here in Korea. A number of women are opting to get birth doulas. I personally believe choosing a good care place to give birth at and having a doula are the two most important things you can do to get the birth you want. Here's some more info about doulas, http://tenderembracebirthing.blogspot.com/2015/03/recommended-books-about-doulas.html

Treatment for tongue and lip ties for babies
« Reply #82 on: April 23, 2015, 12:08:35 PM »
Many infants are being diagnosed with tongue and lip ties, which can make breastfeeding challenging and painful. Luckily there are a few doctors here in Korea who are very experienced in treating ties. The procedure is fast and painless and the results are instantaneous. Here's some more info about where to get treatment, http://tenderembracebirthing.blogspot.com/2015/04/treatment-in-korea-for-tongue-and-lip.html

If you're looking for more breastfeeding help, check out Milky Mamas in Korea on FB. We meet a few times a month, mainly in Itaewon.
