Amazon Kindle Question
« on: March 24, 2012, 01:28:35 PM »
Hey there,

I've got one of the 3rd generation Kindles (the one that came out before the Fire) and I'm not sure if it's dual voltage or not.  Does anyone know if I need a transformer to charge it or can I just use a plug adapter.  Thanks a bunch

The little AC adapter has the voltage range printed on it. Mine says 'Input 100-240V'. You should be fine with just a plug adapter.

I plug mine into the wall with an adapter I bought at Home PLus...no problems.
