[topic]

i've never really found anything aside from a basketballs and more popular sports items in my local homeplus, emart, etc., and they just have small discs for kids.

i'm also hoping to get an aerobee disc, if possible.

any help would be great!  thanks

I looked everywhere and could not find an Ultimate disc. I finally had one sent from the states. However a week after I got it I went to the gym and discoverd about 20 Ultimate disc(well not really ultimate disc they were 165g instead of 175g but the right size otherwise). So maybe ask your gym teacher. Even if you can't buy one locally they might be able to help you order one from somewhere.

If you join the 'Korea Ultimate Players Association' on Facebook, someone will be sure to help you out with a disc. I play Ultimate in Seoul on Sundays and I have seen people selling discs there probably for W15,000-W20,000.
Good luck!

You can also find disks on Gmarket. A Korean teammate told me he got a Diskcraft disk from Gmarket for around 25,000W. Usually though, your cheapest bet is to find an Ultimate Team near you (Seoul, Daegu, Busan, Jeju all have very active groups) and get a disk through them.

wow, somebody bought an Ultrastar off g-market. I am VERY surprised. Personally, I got my friend to bring one from home when he visited.

a few days after i posted i found this website:
http://www.flyingdisc.co.kr/
for a store in 고양시 (northeast of 서울), and i ordered an aerobee from there.  they also have a bunch of regulation ultimate discs in the 15000원 - 25000원 price range.  couldn't order off the website directly because of course it doesn't accept my foreigner registration number, but i emailed the owner and he mailed it over right away.
check it out if you're having trouble finding discs elsewhere.

If you go to the sports section in the Lotte Mart right next to Seoul Station they had a lot of different discs there.  I bought the long throw aerobic one.  they also have regular frisbees too.

I was in Sangbong COSCO on sunday and they were selling pack'e of 3 'original' frisbee's -

One of them had flashing neon lights in the middle when you tapped it, the other two were colored........

I forget the price for the 3 pack - not too expensive though.

They were on the left, when you first enter the store.......

I use those yellow radish things they serve at our cafeteria...
