Where can you take a rug to be cleaned?
« on: August 06, 2018, 02:28:51 AM »
I just got a rather large rug, second hand. I would really like to give it a good clean before using it. Probably like a steam clean. Anyone know where I can get this done? Do I have to rent the steam cleaner and bring it to my house? Hope not... Probably won't happen.

Thanks

You can probably take it to any dry cleaning place.

I was thinking that, but thought it too large for them to deal with. Will drop in and ask.

Go to a franchise one like cleantopia or whatever else is out there. They collect the stuff from their locations and take it to a big plant or something where they have giant machinery that can surely handle large items too. Mom and pop drycleaners do everything themselves and most likely unable to deal with anything large.

Our local dry cleaner cleans all our rugs from the hagwon and home.  He picks them up.
