Shuffle Shells
« on: July 19, 2018, 01:29:57 PM »
So for my "ocean" themed summer camp, I wanted to make a bomb-style game to wrap up the week.  Inspired by septeacher's shuffle cups game (http://www.waygook.org/index.php/topic,55731.0.html) I created this game I call "Shuffle Shells."  The premise is that a pirate ship sinks, leaving it's treasure at the bottom of the sea.  A crab comes along and hides the treasure in various sea-shells. The player is a diver who must look inside the shells to find the treasure.  There is not only treasure but other sea-creatures hiding in the shells.  The basic game operation is the same as the shuffle cups game. After answering a question, 3 shells are shuffled and the player must choose 1 of 3 to open.  This is a template designed for ease of editing, so just type your question and answer in the provided textboxes, and then right-click on the "image-placeholder" to change the picture.  All the animations will be preserved.  I will play this game in a few weeks, so not sure how balanced all the points are.  I would appreciate some feedback!

Edit:  Played this game twice today, was really fun.  I noticed an error with the hyperlinks.  Both "D" and "W" link to slide 7, so just change one to link to slide 6.  I fixed it on the upload so everything should be good now.

Edit 2:  Scroll down to download a version that's a little more streamlined.

So re-uploading this with a few changes.  I eliminated the "all teams lose all points" result.  And now the intro is fully animated so you don't have to click anything until you get to the question selection page.  Then just click through until everything is displayed.
