I didn't like the 3rd grad culture project, but I did do this culture project for 4th grade. Most of it was from the book, so I don't have much material. The one thing I did change (and took up a good part of the first class) was that I had my students figure out how to write their names in English.

There are a few things you need to remember if you are going to help your students write their name correctly:
“ㅇ” Makes no sounds at the beginning of words so “오” would just be “O” or maybe “Oh” (to help English speakers figure out how to say it), I had so many students trying to write "Ngo" which doesn't work! haha

The surname “이” is always changed to “Lee."

For the second day, I had them make go around and ask what their friends wanted to be. Then I had them make a big poster celebrating their career day. These two filled up the whole class.
