Awesome! California has a great economy and clean air! And legalized recreational marijuana, the tax revenue from which will pump the economy even higher. What's the opposite of a failing state? California.

That is not the comparison, that is the thing used to show up the double standards of the evangelicals.  What everyone else is bothered about is his lying and the fact he has no idea how to tell the truth, even when it is the easier option.  Big difference.

I do not care that Trump had consensual sex with a porn star, paid her money to be quiet about it, and then lied about it. Whether evangelicals are being hypocrites is irrelevant to the issue.

So Trump pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal is going to show NK that the US doesn't honour its deals?  The slim possibility of 'stabilising' one area while completely fooking up another for no reason is not what 'smart' people do.

Or it sends a message to North Korea that we WILL void the deal if you don't play by the rules 100% and offer complete transparency, or engage in things like say, proxy wars in Syria and Yemen.

It seems that more than mere "stability" is on the table in North Korea, but rather a complete reformation of the country and Iran and the Middle East may or may not be totally effed up (isn't in kinda already?), but what's to stop Trump from making a BETTER deal with Iran? Not just better for the U.S., but better for the Iranians.
Why not?

As for Iran, it was an Obama achievement so trumpy had to undo it. And it's more red meat for his evangelical supporters.

Because it's none of my effing business where Trump sticks his wang. And if he lies about it is between him and his family, not me. How is it any of your damn business?

As for Evangelicals they are looking at the policies, not the man. They are willing to tolerate defects of character as long as he gets conservative judges appointed and they also enjoy how he is standing up against the PC-SJW nonsense that not just they, but so many middle-of-the-road Americans utterly despise. They probably also like how he has caused a near-total meltdown by many in the left.

The moral character of the president of the United States is everyone's business.

So equal rights for all is now "nonsense"? Standing up to rapists and murderers is "nonsense"? You're a limbo champeen--lower, lower, lower.

Are you down with deporting all your Korean brothers and sisters who are illegal immigrants? They are the fifth largest population of illegal immigrants, in case you were unaware.

The left is mobilizing, son, not melting down. Vote, because This Is America.

Are you guys aware California has been running a surplus for several years? Information about it 'failing' is outdated.

Quote
Next fiscal year’s surplus grows to $9 billion from $6 billion
Quote
California Governor Jerry Brown is proposing boosting the rainy-day fund to its maximum of 10 percent of tax revenue, which would be $13.8 billion. The fund holds $9.4 billion this year.

just because this year they have a budget surplus doesn't mean much.  Balanced budgets are nice and rare for progressives,  but that 6 billion comes at the expense of the highest gas prices, one if not the highest tax rates , and at the expense of MIllIONS of middle class residents leaving to safer more affordable states.

That 6 billion could be consumed easily by fixing terrible roads and infrastructure , old airports, and Water irrigation projects to prevent the next drought etc..

I like that. People are forced to not pollute the air and ruin the environment. Clean air is a basic human right.

People are saying it is a failed state because of the general population.  http://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-jackson-california-poverty-20180114-story.html.  Not sure if this is a left or right news source, it was the first thing that came up when I googled.d

California, economically, is divided into Silicon Valley/Hollywood and the rest of the people.  California is a failing state because the wealth/economy is only dependent on these 2 sectors/areas.

Seriously please explain how California, to the average person is not a failed state?

One of the highest homeless populations out there.  Sounds like a winning state to me.  The Libtards have run it into the ground.

I'd have no problems with it, even if I were American. I'd be in favor in slapping entry visa requirements back onto South Koreans, until they get that number down.

Beggars move to where they can get the most free sh*t / biggest handouts, from both private citizens and the government. Meaning they go to the place that is most wealthy. That would be California. California has the highest per capita income AND highest per capita income GROWTH of ANY state. Not exactly failing is it?

Reminder that conservatives in other states have for decades given THEIR home-grown homeless a one-way bus ticket to California, then turn around and mock California for creating the problem they are guilty of.

But they're already doing all of that and have a surplus to boot.
