I believe that was the devil celebrating the arrival of another repugnican hypocrite.
I thought you went back to Florida to join the resistance? How's that working out? What activities are you engaged in?
Was in the March for Life, working with the Sierra Club, celebrated Earth Day festivities, volunteering at my local library, making phone calls to my elected officials--starting small while still getting moved in.

If you really want to change people's minds about stuff, argue the issues and cut out the childish jokes and ad hominems. They're more likely to put fence sitters off your causes. If your aim is just to try and wind people up on here, carry on.
No one is going to change the minds of the white supremacists who post on here. Pretty soon one of them will be banging on about the lynching museum in Birmingham and then in the next breath defending the Confederate commemorations and statues in the same city.

Think about it--incel types are defending the Toronto murderer on the internet. Minds aren't being changed here.

You're taking the lazy way out. If you can respond politely and logically to people you disagree with, you may not convince them, but you can influence those people watching on the side lines who haven't made their minds up yet. Every time you say things like White Supremecist you're alienating those people on the fence not the real white supremacists .

This is not exactly a new idea. People were banging on about it for ages after Trump got elected. It seems you're a bit slow to catch on.
If only it were so. I've posted plenty of information here and who has changed their mind? What happens is they post something from alex jones or the like as a rebuttal. Most have gotten to the point they just post utube rants without any comment. They're trolls.

And they are white supremacists, so I'll damned well call them that. More research has just been published that shows what motivated trump voters was not the economy but the fear of America no longer being white, fear of losing white (male) privilege (which seems to be a strong underlying theme on this forum) and the fear of America falling behind China and losing the pride of being #1.

You can talk to such people until you are blue in the face and, just like the evangelicals who continue to stand behind trump, they'll ignore it all.

The lynching museum just opened so I have no idea what you're talking about when you say it isn't new.

Best wishes on your mission to win hearts and minds!

You're not listening to what I'm saying. It's not the people you argue with who you have to convince (it's very unlikely you will) it's the bystanders who are just reading the debate and maybe wavering. Every time you accuse someone of being a White supremacist/Misogynist/Racist etc... you also convince those bystanders that you, and therefore the left doesn't have a proper argument.

Right so liberals have to be extremely careful about their tone lest they offend someone
, but it's perfectly fine when conservatives literally defend literal murderous Nazis.

where is this research ? Most werenít racists   Iím glad trump didnt condemn them.  It was a ploy  to associate him with them .   The left never condemns their racists anti American extremists .    Nope they get invitations to White House dinners .
Peer-reviews journals.

Anti-American extremists--you fit right in jimbo with your opposition to equality and most of the ideals America was founded on.

A ploy--you right-wingers sure do like you some conspiracy theories.

Iím a right ht winger?
How do I opposes equality?
You canít just say peer reviewed journals and be done with it.

You canít find any evidence  that trump supporters were racist by And large.
Because they werenít
There were actual reasons they were angry at democrats .  Can you think of any?  Or are you so blind
OK, right-winger may be giving you too much credit. Would reactionary suit you better?

I can and I did. Look it up yourself or do you need to see it on utube because you don't read much?

That's cool. Since you left Korea, the problem that everyone said Trump would mess up and was responsible for and that no one could fix, seems to be on the verge of historic peace and the end of the conflict in large part thanks to the cooperative efforts of Trump and Moon.

But it's great that you're trying to remove him from office because he paid a porn star 130k. That's really more important in comparison. Thanks for your selfless act of reminding us that not getting your way in an election is the bigger issue than war in which millions could die.

In all seriousness, it's pretty cool you're fighting for what you believe in.

Some analysts think it's china putting pressure on Kim that has created the possible about-face (plus the dire conditions in NK). Notice his second visit to China. And moon and a reinvigorated sunshine policy.

But we'll see. Where are the three Americans they said were getting released?

As for Stormy, it's the cover-up and resulting crimes. (Plus how many were there?) Follow the money.

Don't forget collusion is still on the table as well.

Wow you are in touch without analysts and peer reviewed research.
Some analyst say that trump was bigly involved with the diplomacy with China.  Cultivating a personal friendship with xi,  and pressuring them to follow through with sanctions.   You'd know that he had been doing Thisbe if you weren't so busy trying blame him for Russian collision that never happened .

It's true, and many analysts think Trump's dealings with China have finally gotten China on board with sanctions.  In the past they have agreed but enforced loosely.  Trump is the first president to get China to follow through with sanctions.  Could be coincidence, I don't know.

That is not the comparison, that is the thing used to show up the double standards of the evangelicals.  What everyone else is bothered about is his lying and the fact he has no idea how to tell the truth, even when it is the easier option.  Big difference.

I do not care that Trump had consensual sex with a porn star, paid her money to be quiet about it, and then lied about it. Whether evangelicals are being hypocrites is irrelevant to the issue.

So Trump pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal is going to show NK that the US doesn't honour its deals?  The slim possibility of 'stabilising' one area while completely fooking up another for no reason is not what 'smart' people do.

Or it sends a message to North Korea that we WILL void the deal if you don't play by the rules 100% and offer complete transparency, or engage in things like say, proxy wars in Syria and Yemen.

It seems that more than mere "stability" is on the table in North Korea, but rather a complete reformation of the country and Iran and the Middle East may or may not be totally effed up (isn't in kinda already?), but what's to stop Trump from making a BETTER deal with Iran? Not just better for the U.S., but better for the Iranians.

No, it doesn't.  It says, "I am not trustworthy, because even though you have lived up to the letter of the treaty, "100%", I'm not going to."

100% are you sure of that? Netanyahu is full of it, but it's doubtful Iran has 100% complied. There had to be SOME violations.

Regardless, only screaming at the sky liberalism would assume the worst after this. Trump will probably come back with a more comprehensive and better deal. Better for Iran and better for us.

Aren't you part of the same crowd that predicted Trump wouldnt get nominated, Trump can't win, Trump will crash the economy, Muslims would be in concentration camps, mass deportations, and nuclear war with North Korea? Why should anyone listen to your predictions of doom and gloom when you've been wrong so often on the big issues?

Regulators and inspectors haven't found any violations, so, within the margin of observable error, yeah.

What with all his business acumen, etc, that has led him to declare bankruptcy four times, and not even being able to equal the average of the DJIA over the course of his business career.  Yeah, I'm sure he can do better, with no experience in international politics or or nuclear non-proliferation, and unable to get anybody who knows a nuclear weapon from their own membrum virile to come work for his WH.

Remains to be seen if that's the case with intelligence sources and how legitimate the Israeli claims are. I don't believe in giving Netanyahu (or the CIA for that matter) the automatic benefit of the doubt so it remains to be seen.

Lots of successful businessmen have declared bankruptcy at one point or another or had failed ventures. That's actually part of successful business. You try various ventures, some succeed, some don't. What's impressive is recovering from that and moving onward. Trump is not a stockbroker and there's more to it than just "investing in the Dow". Also, Trump has more than just his net worth in terms of tangible assets, he also has the intangible assets he now holds.

He potentially could end up better than any of his predecessors in dealing with North Korea. Just because someone lacks formal training or experience, doesn't mean they can't do better. Trump is no Lincoln (that's for sure) but it should be noted that Lincoln possessed limited experience and was able to outperform the highly-experienced Jefferson Davis. In part it was Lincoln's determination and understanding of people (his street smarts so to speak) that enabled him to overcome various situations, in particular Northern politics and factionalism.

Quote
and unable to get anybody who knows a nuclear weapon from their own membrum virile to come work for his WH.

That applies to Mattis and Pompeo? Have you noticed how quiet the military is regarding Trump in comparison to the intel community/State Dept.? Are you not aware of the division within our own government between the military and the intel community?

Quote
Um, it's only been a year and three month.  Give the man some time, would you.

We were told this would happen virtually overnight. Why not admit that the dire predictions were wrong?

Quote
Wrong on the big issues?  Dude, you've got season tickets to the wrong side of history.

The economy and North Korea he is doing well so far. He's had a miss on health care, but that's not as big a need as other matters (the difference in health care between us and say, Sweden is there, but it's not catastrophic to the nation). Climate Change? Jury is still out just how dire things will get.

Quote
there are more-or-less mass deportations now
Less would be the correct call. In fact, levels that are more close to Obama than any sort of mass expulsion.

Quote
and no one could have predicted the level of shameless moral turpitude Republicans in Congress would sink to.

In other words, this country is a moral disgrace because people who hold different opinions than I do are in power and I need the most dramatic terms possible to describe their conduct.

I think Trump could have done better on health care. We'll see how he does on his prescription drug plan that is upcoming. I think he could do better on race, but there are rumblings of some big plan in the works (and if the whole Kanye Revolution takes off and black GOP support gets up to 20-30%, that will be huge for the black community- better to have both parties competing over you instead of one taking you for granted and one thinking they have no chance). Technology could well prove to be the answer to climate change issues and render it irrelevant as an issue.

What's left? Screaming about Stormy Daniels, the Russia-Collusion Mass Delusion, the Trump is Hitler Mass Hysteria, and "OMG, this isn't normal!!!! Let's Freak Out!!!"

Trump=Hitler because every month we have mass protests where nothing happens except a Trump tweet mocking us. Real fascist there.

http://www.ledger.news/california-now-world-s-th-largest-economy-surpassing-uk/article_599128bf-a7d5-5049-8d7c-13cbc7ed7e26.html

-California's gross domestic product rose by $127 billion from 2016 to 2017, surpassing $2.7 trillion

-Financial services and real estate led the pack at $26 billion in growth, followed by the information sector, which includes many technology companies, at $20 billion. Manufacturing was up $10 billion.

-California's economic output is now surpassed only by the total GDP of the United States, China, Japan and Germany. The state has 12 percent of the U.S. population but contributed 16 percent of the country's job growth between 2012 and 2017. Its share of the national economy also grew from 12.8 percent to 14.2 percent over that five-year period

-The United Kingdom has 25 million more people than California but now has a smaller GDP

Awesome! California has a great economy and clean air! And legalized recreational marijuana, the tax revenue from which will pump the economy even higher. What's the opposite of a failing state? California.
