Star Trek: Discovery.....Kicks Ass!

Wow, is all I could think after the first two episodes.  Production value, sets, story,
action.

I agree - the start seems rather promising, after all of the horrible trailers.
In fact, it probably has the best first 2 episodes of any star trek series.  The question is, will the quality stay the same from hereon out?  Or did they spend most of their budget on the first 2 episodes? We might be in for a rude awakening in the upcoming episodes.  We'll see.

I f**king love it so far. Took me back to being confused/amazed watching the original series as a kid.

This kind of review is what I was hoping to hear!

I know TOS isn't seen as "best" Trek or whatever, but it was the first ST series I ever watched and it changed my life forever.

Can't wait to check this out now. I'd been pretty down on "new" Star Trek ventures lately but now I'm hopeful!

Nice! I was hoping it was going to be good, haven't watched Star Trek since I was a kid. Gotta finish the second season of The Expanse before I get to it though.

(highly recommend The Expanse too for anyone who digs Star Trek!)
