'Gru's Factory' is a ppt quiz game that takes characters, sounds, and concepts from the Despicable Me / Minions films and combines that with the group vs. group mayhem of the classic 'Mystery Box' game.

Dude this rules! Thanks!

Yea this is SO good.  Thank you!!

Since Finding Dory is finally coming out, I thought I would make a Finding Nemo game.  I made two versions.

Version 1 - Standard telepathy, with plus and minus points.  (It's very point intensive, since it's aimed at younger kids and I find they like that).

Version 2 - spelling (or phonics) game, where the kids have to choose the correctly spelled word (or correct sound) to get a point.

Hope you like it!!  ;D

Updated Kim's Game with sound effects. Black cat and ladybug theme.

See reply no.146 above for instructions.

Try inserting pictures into the bubbles instead of words. This should make the game more accessible for weaker students.

Not a Bomb Game

SFX Memory Game / Card Matching Template

My kids love this game, and I use it every couple of weeks.

To adapt this template to your lesson easily:
 - Copy and paste your vocabulary images onto the slide and resize as necessary. Position them above the cards.
- Select all your images (use SHIFT + LEFT MOUSE)
- RIGHT MOUSE click and select "send to back"

Nb. If you are using word / picture pairs, then put the words into text boxes. Then they can be positioned just like pictures.

In class: play in teams. When a student gets a pair correct, drill the sentence with the whole class. This will refocus the class, especially if they are getting a bit rowdy.

The buttons on the right produce applause, cheers etc.

New Frozen Bomb Game 2015

Download both and then copy and paste the slides from the intro into the front of the game. The file was too big to upload all in one piece. >.<

This is a really great looking game.  But, unfortunately, copying and pasting the slides from the intro into the front of the game seems to have messed up all the links.  Like, choosing "A" now takes me to an intro slide, instead of a question slide.

Here's a game I am still working on.
English Shootout:

Sorry for the file size.  It might be too big for some computers.  Also I am  still experimenting with Macros.  I want to try and make it easier for teachers to put in different words.  Such as pulling it from a text file or something.  Anyone that has any suggestions, please repost.  It's not my code, but only just tweeked some things.

update:
I have added the random word list.  Its easier than ever to add the words now.  Also sound has been added as well.  Remember you need to activate Developer option to play.  This uses Macros.  You have to download the words file for it to work.

future: Auto return to page.

Things I want to add:
Refresh on main page if not able to add a random list code
auto-return to shooting page after video plays.
--more to come

This is my first upload too.  :)

Please let me know if it is not playing for you.  I am having some difficulties on other computers as well.

Mission Impossible themed speed unscramble/ blazing pen style game I just finished making.  I thought I remembered seeing a mission impossible blazing pens game before, but couldn't find it again, so I created my own.

There's a 15 second template and a 30 second template.  15 seconds is good for higher level kids.  30 seconds is good for lower level kids, or higher level kids when you want to do sentence unscrambling or more difficult vocabulary.

Modified the "Send in the Ninjas" game to accommodate six teams instead of four.  Since I was doing so much editing anyways, I decided to make it Kung Fu Panda themed.

So, Kung Fu Panda - Send in the Ninjas.  Instructions are in the PPT.

Undertale Powerpoint bomb game template and Undertale game font (used in the Powerpoint). There are text boxes with * in them at the top and bottom of every question slide. Leave those there, because I have them set to scroll out the text one character at a time like in the real game. (I also recommend leaving the * at the start of each text box, because that was also in the real game.)

10/14/16: UPDATED to include version 2, which has a few new characters and surprises for students.

I can't get the trivial pursuit game board to show in powerpoint. I've tried various versions of the programa nd also saving the original file  in different formats. Does anyone have a link they can share to an editable version where I can use the board?

Many thanks

Here is a Pokemon Adventure Game! I recommend it for elementary 5th and 6th grade or higher if you'd like.

This was heavily inspired by another waygook who posted a "Desert Escape" game. I don't remember the original poster of that game. (Great game!) However, this is a completely original story.

There is a template so you can add whatever English your students are learning.

So, basically:

-Each team chooses 5 Pokemon.
-Team Rocket is making Pokemon soup! You have to find and stop them. You will fight 5 Pokemon along the way.
-Each team chooses 1 Pokemon to fight.
-Writing correct English answers gives a chance to attack. (Roll a dice)
-You can make adventure choices as well. Bad choices will disable some of your Pokemon for that round.
-To win the game, beat Team Rocket's Pokemon.

Here's a superhero/comic book-themed mystery box. I got the mystery box "contents" from the basic mystery box template so props to the maker of that game.

The font should be embedded, but you have any problems just download and install the font included below.

Let me know if there are any questions/concerns!

(2/8/17: Uploaded updated version of game.)

Here's a couple of History of Mario Telepathy templates, one for Keynote and one for Powerpoint.  There are 12 telepathy sets starting with Mario Bros and ending with Mario Maker.  Sorry if I didn't include your favorite.  If anyone wants to add sets for Donkey Kong, Yoshi's Island, Sunshine, whatever, have at it. It's set up for word telepathy, but small sentences could fit. I mostly used it for third and fourth grade.

Here's how it works. For each set of four words there are five slides:
1. static display of all four words
2. upper left is correct
3. lower left is correct
4. upper right is correct
5. lower right is correct
Enter your four words in the "Hello" spaces on the static display slide.  Next, choose which one of the following four slides is correct and DELETE the other three.  Don't forget to re-enter the words on the correct slide.  For example, if the upper right word is the one you'd like to be correct, delete slides 2,3, and 5 from the set and only retain slides 1 and 4.  If I'm not being clear enough, just play the template as is and watch the slides and you'll pick up the pattern of which slides to keep or delete.

Also, I originally made this with Keynote, so when I exported it to Powerpoint the animations got a bit messed up and slowed down.  They Keynote version has much better looking and  faster animations.  I'm not that great at using Powerpoint, but if anyone else wants to clean up the animations for the pptx version and re-upload it here for everyone, you're welcome to do so.
