Asian Gate

Hey Everyone,
One of my favorite aspects of working with younger learners (as well as older ones) is decorating my classroom. I usually try to do a theme based on a season, holiday, or place. This year, I am going to have a lesson on the Lunar New Year and have been designing red and gold lanterns as well as a really cool 4 foot tall gate. This gate is actually not too hard to create. It īs just made from cardboard, mailing tubes, popsicle sticks, paint, and some glue. Here are the images of the gate as I have made it so far. I īm pretty sure my young learners are going to enjoy seeing this on my desk in the coming weeks. *^_^*
