Hey mods,

Yet again, another user has found my post on Dave's ESL Cafe and needs help being activated. Same problem as always: no activation e-mail was sent.

Their username is "hawtdawg."

PLEEEEEASE FIX THIS ISSUE. PLEEEEASE.

The account is now activated. I took a look through the recently created accounts, and I am seeing a few new accounts that are registered but not yet activated. I'll talk to the other mods who have been here longer than me and see if its a few isolated situations or more of a site-wide issue. For now, if there is anyone else having the issue I can activate their accounts if the account name is posted here.

Hello, a friend of mine was trying to make a waygook account yesterday and today but they are not receiving any emails for verification and they have checked their spam.

This problem has been around for awhile. Usually when people sign up with a Yahoo mail account the notifcation doesn't get sent. Try using a gmail account. Should work fine.

My friend tried to make an account yesterday using two different email addresses, but the activation email never sends. And she's checked her spam folder too.
