Waygook blocked, VPN ok?
« on: June 21, 2017, 08:30:20 AM »
Jeollanamdo Office of Ed is trying to block access to waygook.org. I have heard in the past that vpns are a no-no, but is it now ok to use a vpn while at work to access waygook.org?

Thanks

I have heard on this forum that they can use it as an excuse to not renew someone, probably not the real reason. _____ Teacher got materials from waygook.org rather than make his own, so not renewed. Same KT gets same ppt from Indischool no problemo...

Speaking of which, where is our resident Tovaritch? He's even been quiet on the Megyn Kelly and Putin thread which should have him linking RT videos like they were his personal travel blog.

I can confirm waygook.org has been blocked at my school (in Jeollanam-do).

Installed VPN and it works fine again.

Does this mean my waygook use is untraceable? I like my job and would prefer not to be fired.

They can only see that you're using a VPN. Honestly, try bringing your own device and using your phone as a hotspot. I have no idea why more people don't do that.

I do this. For people in that province, you should, too.

Thanks to whom ever cleaned up this thread.  ;D
Perhaps someone could answer the question, a mod or the man himself??
