Vocab papers.

Hey guys!
Happpy Lunar New Year!!!

I have a question for those folks who teach alone with the homeroom teachers.
Normally with the first lesson of a chapter ( basically day 1 of a new lesson)
I give my students a vocab paper with all the new words and the keysentences.
They then write in the KOrean meaning and well keep the paper and later on we have a speling test just for fun.
I recently got a book from the publishers with the keysentences and the word printed and then the korean with them. This kinda made my kids lazy and they actually didn ot focus on the new words that much.

So isnce the new year is starting in a bit I have been toying with new ideas and stuff so was wondering what other teachers do? How can I use the sentences and words in a better way than just writing them once and tossing the papers away? What format do you use?
I have attached the pages.. any new ideas are welcome.
