Motorcycle course?
« on: May 15, 2017, 06:05:44 PM »
I'm interested in taking a motorcycle course (complete beginner), but I haven't found much information about places offering them.  My Korean is very limited, and the 600,000w some places in Seoul are asking seems really high.  Are there any schools or hagwons that instruct in English?

A mate of mine is starting one near Seoul (Seognam I believe). Don't think the classes are offered in English. It's all in Korean, but you can follow along as best you can in the class and then practice on the bike.

It was 315,000 for the course (10 hours driving and 3 hours class time) and will be 38,000 for the driving test. Think he is doing the course over three weekends.

He said they speak 0 English and that you would need someone to call and sign you up.  Here is the picture with number that he sent me.

Also, if you are just planning on riding a 125cc and below, only a standard Korea license is required.

I think I know of a place that can get you from start to finish all in English. I will post the number here once I find it. I will put the number, or if I can only find the guys Facebook name and stuff, then I will send a PM, so be on the lookout. As far as I know the company provides learning classes in English, as well as working with the DMV to get you through the tests.

Found it  edskorea.com

I didn't look up any details, but I am sure you could find out what you need to with a quick email or phone number. I find that dealing with these things here, calling will be easier, but just make sure you have all questions ready.
