I've got an urge to exercise some consumerism. What can I buy for myself that's no more than 100kwon? I like gadgets, music, science fiction and cheese. Gimme suggestions! It has to be available online in Korea. I'm in the middle of nowhere.

A Fitbit Charge HR. Thrive in the coolness. Then later spend an extra 200-300k won upgrading to another, more Inspector-Gadget-y Fitbit model.

A massager for your feet.

An ice cream maker. I mean it.

One of these.

A wireless mouse that isn't a piece of shit.

A wireless router that isn't a bigger piece of shit.

I love my marathon mouse. Your external link crashed my computer, but that's no surprise, it's a piece of garbage. I bought a new router literally last month. The old one was being ornery.

Whoever posted the Blue Cheese Sea Salt in a container with a magnetic base: I don't think I've ever needed something as much as I need that. Thank you!!

Whoever suggested coffee again: pay attention!

Watched both the new Pirates movie and Wonder Woman this past weekend.

I enjoyed both. But not without a lot of eye-rolling. Especially with how they had a few of the Amazons walking like they were swole. xD

Lots of fun.

I saw both this weekend too.  I don't know which one I liked better.  Which one did you think was better in regards to just overall enjoyment?

I didn't know Pirates hit the mainstream. Colour me surprised.
Ko fills half his luggage with instant noodles for his international business travels, a lesson he learned after assuming on his first trip that three packages would suffice for six days. “Man, was I wrong. Since then, I always make sure I pack enough.”

@ donovan: Saw Get Out a while back, too. Via more unseemly ways. Without spoiling the film for others, gonna have to say I didn't like it because I thought the whole premise, like time traveling, is stupid. Plus, other films have done it better.

For me it was Pirates. Because a big part of films like these for me is the antagonist, and, I'm sorry, Ares is super-duper lame. Captain Salazar beats him hands-down. Also, I thought Wonder Woman's character was a little bland. They relied too much on the actress' good looks.

Pirates definitely had more eye-rolling worthy scenes, though. But all in good fun.

I really liked both as well. They were just good entertainment. But you're right, there were a few "Uh, ok" moments.

DOES NOT COMPUTE.

I mostly just liked that they cast one of my favorite basketball players in the lead role.

But I know what you mean about other films doing the premise better.

Wonder Woman's character was a little bland. They relied too much on the actress' good looks.

Gal Godot got that role on her MERITS!!! >:(

Little known fact privy only to those who scour the inner reaches of IMDb: the role was originally written for Ryan Reynolds.

I think I liked Pirates better too.  There were one or two memorable moments in Wonderwoman but I liked how Pirates captured the feeling of adventure.  I didn't know where they would end up next or what they would face and when I saw what they encountered it was amazing.  Adventure rocks.

If anyone goes to see Pirates by the way there is a post credits scene.

Who?

Gheorge Muresan. He was in the time travel scene.

DOES NOT COMPUTE. <---- *I* didn't even get it at this point. I was going to correct her and say that 'the sunken place' was in no way time travel. THEN I got it ----->
