If you want to use your own avatar, such as a picture of yourself doing something memorable (or whatever), then just follow these instructions:

STEP 1:
Click this link: http://www.waygook.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1;sa=forumProfile

STEP 2:
Then select the radio box that says "I will upload my own picture".

STEP 3:
Press the "Choose File" button.

STEP 4:
Browse the picture file on your computer (whatever_your_picture.jpg).

STEP 5:
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Change Profile"... and you're done.

What's the file size limit - especially for gifs?

Heya, sorry for the late reply.  I try to browse each section regularly, but I missed this one.

There's not file size limit per say, just a dimensional limit.  For external links to a url outside waygook, it used to be 60pixels by 60pixels, and for an uploaded file it was 125pixels by 125pixels.  If you want that increased a bit, just let me know

edit:  I just increased it to 200x200 which should work for most people?

It seems to auto resize, so sizing it yourself isn't necessary

What the hell is "radio box" and where on the page do I find it?
