Dear Fellow Canadians,
The Embassy will be holding an information meeting as part of our Consular Outreach Program as follows;
Working in Korea; Canadian Embassy Outreach
Date & Time: May 31, 2008 (Sat.) 11:00 ~ 13:00
Place: 3rd Floor Seminar Room, Gwangju City Hall, Chipyung-dong
http://www.gwangju.go.kr/ Canadians and other foreigners in Gwangju and its vicinity are invited to meet Canadian consular officers and Korean officials. Information will be provided on Canadian and Korean income tax, the Korean National Pension Plan, Medical Coverage, Labour Laws and Immigration Regulations. This is an opportunity to ask questions and highlight problems that you are encountering while living in Korea with the Embassy and the Korean government offices.
We encourage Canadian citizens in the area to participate in the meeting. Foreign national friends are also welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served. The Embassy is looking forward to seeing you there.
