Cooking Classes in Daegu
« on: April 01, 2013, 10:54:26 AM »
One of my co teachers has hooked me up with a local for cooking classes.  We're looking for groups of 4-7 that will meet bi-monthly in lesson sets of 4.  The lessons will be on Sundays from 12-2 (and possibly another session from 4-6 or 5-7 if there is a lot of interest).  Cost is 100,000 won for four lessons or 30,000 w pr lesson.  Lunch & tea will be served.  Location is about a 15 minute walk from Sinmae station in Daegu.

Are the cooking classes just for learning how to cook Korean food, or would we learn how to cook other types of food as well?

Classes would only cover Korean food.  The teacher is willing to take suggestions on what food will be covered.

I'm quite interested - would the teacher be able to make adaptations for a strict vegetarian (i.e. no meat/meat products at all including fish sauce, etc)? I know that's not the easiest thing to do with Korean food but if possible I'd love to join in.
