GwangJu - Mokpo May 3rd to 5th...Trip info please

Hey all,
My buddies and I are heading down from May 3rd to 5th for a roadtrip to Gwangju and Mokpo.
Plans are Saturday, GwangJu....Sunday Mokpo then off to Daegu perhaps for May 5th.
My question is regarding nightlife in both cities.
Where are the nightlife areas with the most bars and motels in both cities?
Not neccasarily foreign bars, we mostly hit up Korean bars anyways but would like to know about the main nightlife area in general.
Also, how long is the drive from Gwangju to Mokpo?
