Slaves in China...'freed'?

Okay, so this one's not really in Korea...but close enough.

For those of you who don't know, here is the story (sorry, I don't know how to make those fancy blue-boxes like Smee)

You can just google "China slaves", and you'll get endless articles.

Here's a video-link on youtube

and damn, CNN doesn't have the same quote from an owner of one of these slave kilns as their broadcast did.  It was my favourite part, so I'll try to be as accurate as I can:
"I didn't feel it was a big deal.  It was only beating and swearing at them with no pay."
Or something to the like.

...And that's what made me think it was relevant to Korea...It's just the same as Highschool!  (ohhh, burrrrrn....but kinda true)

And the police turning a blind eye to all the bad things happening until there's a huge public outcry and suddenly the bribe-money doesn't outweigh the fear of being a part of it (even though they are)...so Korean-style.

It also goes along with the running theme of all the news feeds in Korea which detail the victims, but always the perpetrators are blurred out.  (check the youtube video).
