A bit outdated but I'll give it a go.

How long did this reward system last / how long does it takes for students to max out the levels?

How did the girls react to the characters?

I actually used this last year in an all-boys school, so I'm not sure how girls would react to it. I used it in my class for an entire semester with 40 after-school classes. Only 3 students got to the top (in a class of 20).
