Where can I buy a power cord for my laptop?

I just moved to Pohang and my powercord for my laptop just died. I went to the homeplus, but they told me I couldn't buy one there and couldn't recommend a place for me to go. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm totally clueless!

What kind of computer do you have?

It's a windows computer. I purchased it from a company in Flordia that makes their own computers.

There is only one place I can guarantee you will find it. Yongsan. The place has ever electronic part you could ever imagine and I just so happened to have the same problem shortly after I arrived with my Compaq laptop. I think I paid 40,000 won for the new power cord.

I would HIGHLY recommend buying it online. Look on the bottom of your computer, get the make and model number and type that with "power cord adapter" into google. You have to get the right power cord for your comp or you risk frying your motherboard. You may find it in Yongsan, but if they tell you they don't have it, they probably don't. A new cord will probably set you back $40 - $80 as most cords cannot be shared across different makes. Good luck in your search!
