Learning to Read Textbook Suggestion

I know for a matter of fact that some of my middle school boys CAN'T read English. During my summer camp, one kid would practice reading a phonetic alphabet chart. So I thought it would be nice to try to offer some after school classes that would help get these students learning how to read. My question would be can anyone recommend me textbooks for the class.
