Up movie summer camp
« on: August 02, 2010, 08:08:05 am »
Here are some older worksheets I made for an Up summer camp.  It's a great movie with some excellent themes.  I split it into 7 sections about 12 min long.  The timing on these isn't perfect, but they average around 35 or 40 minutes.

Did you show the movie with Korean subtitles? Do you have the movie file?

Thanks for posting!

These worked great with my kids but the lower level found the worksheets to difficult so I decided to get them role playing instead.  The file below contains 6 lessons of 40mins.  In each lesson you play around 15mins of the movie.  First lesson using the worksheet to describe the characters personality. The following 5 weeks I put the kids into groups of 3 to perform role plays using the scripts.  All timings are at the top of each sheet.  This went really well.

Thanks. I think these materials will be good for elementary grades 5 & 6 (especially the role-plays)
