Merging topics and keeping lessons together.
« on: June 11, 2010, 04:37:07 am »
Hello,
I've merged the three posts we had for Grade 6 Lesson 6.

http://waygook.org/index.php/topic,831.0.html

If people like this, I will do it for the rest of the grades and lessons to make sure everybody finds all the resources collected here.

I'm not sure it's possible to create a subfolder for each grade and another folder for each lesson, as was recommended by a user last week.  But, what I can do is make a checklist for each grade and sticky it atop the elementary forum.  For example, there'd be a post called "Grade 6" stickied, and when people click on it they'll find links to the posts assembled for Lesson 1, Lesson 2, Lesson 3, etc., for each grade.

Please let me know what you all think, if you think that 6-6 post is clean enough, or if you have any other ideas about keeping the posts organized

Thanks,
Brian

I think that's a great idea. Organising them and making them easy to find would be really useful when I am planning a lesson and need a game to throw in there.

Thanks Brian!

I think it would be great to sticky the Grade at the top of the Elementary section of the forum and put all the posts into that topic.

Okay, thanks.

Grade 6 is up and stickied.  The others will take some more time.

On the 6th grade index, can you list lesson 14 as Would You Like to Come to My House?

We changed out textbooks this year and a couple of the dialogues and lesson titles changed.

But i still thinks its better to merge whatever you can to save clutter. I'm sure i'll be able to find or post where relevant.

Please consolidate reoccuring posts which are concerned about life in Korea, for example, travel agencies, getting a driver's licenses, getting to local festivals, etc.  It would make the board more manageable and all users need to do would be to use the search function before entering their post.
