Friend in America would like a penpal for her son...
« on: June 03, 2010, 10:08:10 am »
A friend of mine in America asked me if I knew any students who would like to be a penpal for her 9 year old son. I'm working at a high school so I don't think any of my students would go for this.

So, if you are working at an elementary school or at a hagwon with elementary school age students attending it, and you know of any student who would like a penpal in America, let me know please.

Have a good week, R.

Hey Russ,

Hopefully you can find a teacher on here who knows a student around that age to be a penpal for your friend's son.

Otherwise, a good website your friend can check out is www.epals.com.  She can sign up as a parent and write a profile / search for a penpal on there.  I've had a lot of luck with in finding penpals for my students on there, and I have seen a fair amount of parents/individuals looking for penpals on there too, not just classes.

Good luck!

Dear Merle,

Thankyou very much. I'll pass that on to my friend.

Have a good weekend, R.

Probably an opportunity long past, but did you find anyone. I just may know of a sweet smart boy who (I think) would jump at the chance. Let me know and I'll contact his parents k?
