This is just an introduction worksheet for the first two days of class. It has vocabulary, key phrases, look & listen dictation, and picture identification. There are two versions: one for current windows as well as one for windows 97-2003. Enjoy!

I'm glad you are utilizing them... I will of course be making one for each lesson for at least sixth grade. However, I haven't got any for the other grades because my other teacher doesn't want to use them. I'll try to make what I can for you guys. Enjoy!

Here is a worksheet activity that can be used instead of the Let's Play (3). The students get the map and have to cut out the pictures on the second sheet. The teacher then reads the direction sheet as the students glue on each location. Afterward, you can check the answers with the students by using the powerpoint. It gives each location in order of the directions so you can say them at the same time. Also available for Windows 97-2003. Enjoy!

The game is flashed based. I'm guessing you have students give you directions and you click through.

Why do I keep getting error messages on some of the ppts, "File cannot be opened because it is in use by another user"? I get the message whether I just try to open the file or download & save it.

.: I know everyone is WAAAAY past this lesson but I thought I might share anyway. I had an open class for 4th grade recently for Lesson 13 and I made a short film to use (in place of the Look & Listen videos). I hope it'll be helpful to you guys too (maybe for like next year). here's the link to the video:

I think it's useable for 5th and 6th grade's "Where is ...?" lessons.
4th = lesson 13
5th = lesson 5
6th = lesson 2

My ppt with speaking activities for the students. I made cards with directions on for some students, and cards with pictures on for the others they had to find their partner. The 2nd period they studied prepositions and had a listening activity about directions.

The "Stolen Box" story looks good - but how can I download it??

If it were Youtube - I would use keepvid.com

however - this one isn't YouTube and keep.vid only plays it - doesn't download it.

I've just made another couple of worksheets.
One word search puzzle and one crossword puzzle.
This is really easy material and should occupy about 5-10 minutes of your class time.
