Well, realistically, nothing will ever be an improvement ever again. Life is basically just a downward spiral.

May I recommend:

I'll score it for you.

I went to the party A
at Banpo C

yday. 20 000 to get in, C
but hey, it's on the roof of those floating buildings by the bridge. Fair play. A

HOWEVER, it was not advertised that there would ONLY be Corona and that it would be 7000W per bottle, f'in hell. C-

But I did hang out with Julien A
from 비정상 회담 B-
for a bit and practice my French. D

But spent way too much money on Coronas F
and now I feel............................ average, instead of my usually bubbly self. C

The weighted average comes out to B-. Not bad, sir.

I did some outdoorsy stuff, read a little bit, then went shopping, ended up spending wayyyyyyy more money than usual. Questioning whether this is an improvement or not.

You're in transition. I'd give it an A- for effort

Hahaha, a D for practicing French? Maybe I need to explain........ I wasn't asking him grammatical questions, hahahaha. My French is 90% fluent, I just mean it's good to talk with native speakers. I actually met a lot of French people there.

A+

And now Donovan knows exactly how it feels to be a foreign professor at a Korean university immediately after final test grades have been released.

Yeah I saw that party too and even "interested" it on facebook.  But it was on  a Sunday though....I can't really go out on a "school night."  Knowing me I would have forgot to set my alarm.  Came back home at 4am or 5am.  A sleep till 1pm with multiple missed calls from my school wondering where the hell I am.  Better safe to sit that one out.  And Ajahya  at least you didn't get a hangover from all of that.  So baby steps :-D

I got wasted on Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat night. I dubbed this the week of not giving a f*ck, after she left last Sunday.

Now it's time to sort myself out.

* I was actually looking for the "Hilarious things students say, but I found this instead and this is my..... confession? hahaha, My week of not giving a shit is over and time to buy a bike, eat better and leave the beer alone for a bit.

REGARDLESS, a student saw the word today "stomachache" and he pronounced it like 스토마차체

No such thing as a wasted weekend.  There's only a lost opportunity to get wasted.

Well, Tom would be 텀 and Hot Choco would be 헛초코, but instead they've adopted the Southern Belle method of the short O sound.

An Englishman named Scott told me that he reckons the first Scott in Lorea must have been from the southern USA because most Koreans say his name like "Scat".

Yeah, I don't get it. There's a perfect equivalent in 어. They don't have to learn a new sound.
Or they go the other way and use the long O 오 instead. Hi, I'm Tome. hahaha

I can't even count how many different people I've had arguments with about 'a' as in 'cat,' 'hat,' 'rat' is not is not equivalent to '애'.

햇, 켓, 렛 sound closer to 'hate,' 'Kate,' 'rate' than they do anything else. But the problem is, 아 also isn't a perfect match. But it is a much closer match.

Whenever I try to explain this, though, they offer the explanation that words like 'hate' or anything with a long 'a' sound are equivalent to '에이 / 애이' in Korean.

It's... so... frustrating.

They're right about at least some of that though. 'Hate' and so on contain diphthongs within one vowel.
