Why must Western countries always be up for grabs? I don't think Koreans would appreciate it if immigrants were flooding their country, taking their jobs, not assimilating very well, and causing serious problems sometimes. I'm okay with some immigration but it shouldn't happen at the expense of the citizenry.

I think Trump has made some real progress.
"The number of immigrants caught by Border Patrol agents as they attempt to cross the Southwest border has plunged dramatically, dropping 40% since President Trump took office and signed sweeping executive orders to enforce immigration laws."

They shouldn't be.   Immigration programs should be reasonable and fair.

Refugee programs need to provide training and support.   The flood of refugees has made

things difficult, to say the least.

Canada needs more people, but what it doesn't need is a lot of people who have no skills,

and will not be able to support themselves.    It's hard to get the right balance when

the world is in a constant state of crisis.
